As the "Sports Rank Nerd", I am a fan of all sports and a passionate follower of many. And for whatever reason, probably like many of you, I am captivated by rankings in sports. Be it Power Rankings, Player Rankings, Positional Rankings, Draft Rankings, Fantasy Rankings or anything else you can find a way to rank, we all just want to figure out who the best really is. And the worst... And everything in between. Then, probably like many of you, I find so many ranks that I disagree with that I just HAVE to rank them myself. So why are my rankings any more important than yours? They're not. This page is simply an outlet for me to share them with as many as possible, and perhaps provide some insightful explanations along the way. But I hope that after reading through a couple of my rankings, you will view me as a fairly knowledgeable sports mind, and more importantly, that it'll promote discussion where you can tell me all of the places where my rankings suck. I am obviously a fan of certain teams, so I will acknowledge bias when it may exist, but I'll also back it up with some reasoning. My favorite teams are the Buffalo Bills, Boston Red Sox, Buffalo Sabres, Boston Celtics, Denver Nuggets, Oregon Ducks, Michigan Wolverines, Florida Gators, Duke Blue Devils, Bayern Munich, AC Milan and obviously any US national team (especially soccer and hockey). I obviously have some strong dislike toward most of the rivals of these teams (Patriots, Yankees, Bruins, Heat, etc.). So if you'd like to accuse me of being biased, THIS IS WHERE TO LOOK. There will be rankings from a wide variety of sports, but it may lean heavily toward certain sports during certain seasons. If you'd like to see anything else ranked that I have not yet done, I would be happy to do it.
